I really don't Animal Crossing New Horizons Bells have a hyperlink but dataminers discovered months ago the villagers in NH have more lines of dialogue than any of those older games. You have to keep talking for them to get to the intriguing and more varied stuff, which is still a problem since few people talk to their villagers more than a few times per day.
I agree, I played the game for about a week and then realized Stardew does everything this match does but does it even better.
The simple fact that the most upvoted remark in this thread asks trying characters to get stats for mini-games says much about how the men and women who complain about AC on this sub really don't have any desire to play AC. You would like AC for a completely different game. I have put a ton of hours into every AC, and NH is undoubtedly, the biggest measure that the franchise has obtained since the first game. The amount of freedom you have to make your city your own is absurd in contrast to the previous game. I can not imagine ever going back to another one.
I really like Animal Crossing and I concur that faux-RPG mechanisms wouldn't make for a better Animal Crossing, but in many ways New Horizons felt like measure back from New Leaf. The decoration methods are improved but the furniture variety is lacking, so that it felt much more difficult to make something which felt as though it represented me. I have seen lots of very creative layouts, but I have also seen a ton of essentially the exact same kitchen or bedroom or living room. It doesn't help that they destroyed the customization options of NL by creating just like half the items not able to be customized, so forcing you to wait forever or attempt to trade for the ideal color box sofa.
Having the ability to customize your island is very cool, but the real-time aspect means that my island felt half baked. I'd start to execute a notion, spend 2 weeks moving buildings, then realize I don't like the result. I suppose I need to focus on the advantages of the island reshaping, but this was something which left me feeling buy Animal Crossing Items bummed.
